Discover the joy of playing unique traditional instruments! Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, I offer lessons tailored to your needs:
- Talharpa for Beginners and Advanced Players: Learn the basics or take your skills to the next level. We'll explore technique, traditional repertoire, and creative ways to bring this beautiful instrument to life. Perfect for those who want to try something new and unusual!
- Violin Lessons: For those with a classical background or an interest in traditional fiddle music. I provide personalized guidance to help you reconnect with your instrument or master new styles.
My Teaching Approach
My teaching method is rooted in my experience with both violin and talharpa instruction. I've combined the best techniques from violin teaching – bowing, finding notes, creating tone, and much more – to develop my own system for teaching the talharpa from scratch. I’m proud to have guided over a hundred enthusiastic talharpa players through their very first bow strokes!
Most importantly, everyone has succeeded, regardless of their prior musical experience. I strive to make learning simple, motivating, and fun.
